Hi Guys. I am looking at replacing my worn out boots with BMW All Round boots - going to predominantly use for touring. Has anyone any comments for or against or recommendations. Don't want to buy the wrong product. ???

I've got 2 pairs of the BMW ProTouring Boots, the RRP is more than that for the Allround Boots.
However, on both occasions, I asked my local BMW dealer for a discount & got them for around £160, same RRP as the Allround Boot.

Try Altberg, Had a pair of their boots for 7 years now and they are brilliant. I went for the lace up Hog boot, which is great for riding, but also for walking around. But they do make normal touring boots

I have the BMW Allround. After about a week they are super comfortable and 100% waterproof. Mine are now over 2 years old and look new.Not so keen on the Pro Touring which have a thinner sole.

Altberg for me, handmade in UK and made to measure at reasonable prices.

Altberg for me as well. Had mine for 10 years now. Had them re-soled and re-lined at the factory about 5 years ago. Still as good as new.

Daytona. Quality fit & function I went via Sidi RST alpinestars. Should have just paid the asking price to start with. Fantastic boots

I recently got a pair of TCX X-tour Evo Gore Tex to replace my Sidi B2. The TCX are a bit of a Daytona copy and they have been all day comfy from the start, with plenty of feel and are totally waterproof. They are a bit hot during the warmer days, but the comfort more than makes up for it.

Are these not walking boots, ie no armour or crushproof sole.
