Olympics motorcycles
I like seeing how many BMW bikes are riding around the Olympics, filming the marathon runners and cyclists. Those guys have some serious riding skills. They are 2-up, very top heavy with a camera-man nearly standing in the pillion seat, very slow speeds and a ton of obstacles. I haven't seen anyone drop a bike yet, but I bet it happens occasionally. :wonder:

Yes, exactly. It would be a fun job to have, but you better bring your "A" game to work every day.

Re: Olympics motorcycles
Recently there has been a discussion about pushbike races & safety.
This happened after there was a major crunch with the race bikes, and a camera bike. Apparently the bike lane ran out, and the camera bike had to go somewhere. Unfortunately it could only go in to the pack of cyclists. They were not happy, and one was injured quite seriously.
Of course this is no surprise as you are at the back, and you need to get to the front, with little room to manoeuvre.
