R1200rt 2005 Audio Controls not dispalying

Hi All
I have a 2005 rt SE that the audio controls i.e. channel setting, do not display in the dash. Has anyone else experienced this and more importantly, does anyone know how to get the settings back into the display?!

I always think try the cheapest thing first, unplug and clean with switch spray all plugs and connectors, does the 05 have fuses or can-bus if fuses that would be worth checking. Good luck, otherwise a breakers yard may have the bits.
