I'm looking for an aftermarket battery for my 2011 R1200rt. I found a Bikemaster that fits but the AH is 16 or 17 instead of 19 as per manual specs. Will this be a problem? Any suggestions re Gel vs. AGM or manufacturers/retailers? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Roger.

Bikemaster seem to be US based only. Their gel batteries cost more than an OEM one. You wouldn't believe the damage a lead acid battery can do if it spills.

$168 is £131. Same price just about as an OEM. Do we know where he is. I assumed UK.

My guess is the US,
"BikeMaster is distributed exclusively in North America by Tucker Rocky Distribution".
The BikeMaster battery has a 2 year warranty,

One of US will be correct, the suspense is killing me.

Now if Steinar made it impossible to register without adding your location life would be much easier

No, that wouldn't be half as much fun.
