Are you looking for a socket (female) or plug (male) connector.ds99 wrote:I think I will just jam paperclips into the existing canbus plug.

I'm confused, what are you connecting the horn to.ds99 wrote:I am fitting a new horn (that has spade connectors).
Re: where can i buy a canbus socket?
i have removed the BMW horn, this is connected via a canbus plug and socket.
i wish to install a new horn, but it has spade connectors (ie not canbus)

Re: where can i buy a canbus socket?
If you would like a cheap option, cut the BMW socket/plug off & fit some female spade connectors.
Just leave some wire on the BMW socket/plug in order that it can be replaced at a later date if necessary.
