Not that there are probably any Victory customers on this site, but its a shame to see another brand stop. polaris are still going to make Indians though, so still some competition for Harley.

Thanks for the Heads Up. HD 114 years. Victory 20 years. After owning a few Harleys still like them - never got the Victory. Good bikes though - and they'll be real cheap now.

It is a shame to see them end but they were bleeding money pretty bad. I rode 4 different models last year at Americade in New York and loved them all. On another note do you know of anyone that has had their seat shaved to lower it?

... and it is easy to understand why BMW do not want to commit huge resources to develop a range of full-on cruisers to go head-on with HD. When one looks at the number of buttons on the dashboard of a Gold-Wing, how on earth are BMW going to compete with that either?

Interesting observation about the Goldwing.  You have to wonder how BMW can manage to install so many if not more features on a fully loaded RT without covering the bars in stacked buttons.  Better development maybe.

Imagine if the RT didn't have the wonderwheel and menu driven options how many buttons and how much wire compared to a 'Wing. Also having so many switches out in the open as with the 'Wing invites failure, but do they fail on a Honda? I guess their forum would tell.

Fail or not they look like something from the 70s.
