Yesterday was dry and sunny here but with a cold wind, so I cut the grass. Cloudy but calm today and 10C so time to wake it up after 2 months. Only took half an hour to find all the kit and get the dust off the visor. Pushed it off the drive into a heavy drizzle. Try again tomorrow. Bugger.

It's allright for those living in sub tropical Salisbury, but up here a Derbyshire drizzle requires a wet suit.

Tomorrow's the day, Up past the Ponderosa, Denbigh and then to the Dutch Pancake House at Conwy Water Gardens for lunch, they have over 62 different sweet and savoury pancakes on offer, back down through Bala and over the Berwyn Hills to Oswestry. SHould be about 200miles.
Forecast is 16deg and dry.

At last, back on the road. My winter preparation has paid off. Nothing added to a tank full of Tesco cheapest, no goo all over the shiny bits and battery plugged in once a fortnight for half a day. Went just as it did in December .

Well not 16deg as promised but at least it was dry up until we headed for home. Then it was only a bit of drizzle.
170miles not 200 as expected. Anne (SWMBO) led out and I led back.
All in all a good day. Roll on the better weather.
