Sat or Sun 13th/14th May. Meet up. David and I was discussing this - and suggestion was firming up as a "How about the National Coal Mining Museum on the A642 between Huddersfield & Wakefield. Could head south from there and do a circular route in the Peak District." Started this link as it was getting confused with another meet. So meet up if you can by adding to this thread.

Put me down for a good possibility, if my cycling injury improves in time.

............................................................................. and is pleased to report that the Strines which at one time was the worst surface in the PD is now one of the best, almost totally resurfaced with that lovely smooth and quiet Spanish style tarmac. I think they started doing sections when the Tour de France started up there a couple of years ago. Must have spent a fortune. Nice to know our taxes are being put to good use.

Just been watching the Tour de Yorkshire and can see now why they've been resurfacing up on the Strines.

Saturday (hopefully) will be fine for me as well. Unfortunately though I'm going to have to downgrade to a 'possibly' for this meet?, My partner (Jo) is currently in hospital with a broken back and the future is a little hazy at the moment.
