garmin 2018 latest map update

Did the latest map update when it came out a week or so ago. After reading a thread on another forum thought I would check again what was loaded. Guess what, had 2018 North but not South, so half missing. Rang Garmin, just re-installed and they are now both there. So check your maps chaps, just in case 8)

See, even "the other place" can be a useful source of information too - despite all the banter!

I have no issues with the other place, some really good information and no wilting flowers to deal with 8)

Ok, on advice of a previous posts, I have had a look back at the above post and retract the Wilton Flowers Comment, that might upset some on here.

Lol - and if anyone wants a coffee, I live 2 miles from Wilton, carpets aren't quite the same as they used to be before the factory had a management buy out though.

Used to deliver newspapers in Wilton on a push bike

Sorry if I'm being thick, but how do I check ?
I've just had my Nav V replaced under warranty and I've registered and updated it. I assumed all the maps would be up to date .....

Not being thick at all 8) Go into the settings and navigation and maps, scroll down the options and near the bottom it says map details - have a look and it will show all the maps loaded with a tick next to them. Look for 2018 North and South

I tapped Settings / map and vehicle / my maps. It then told me I have :
CN Europe NTU 2018.10 ALL South
CN Europe NTU 2018.10 ALL North
Europe DEM
CN Europe NTU 2018.10 3D
Don't know what half of that means, but I'm guessing it's all as it should be.
