Hello to everyone on here.i have just bought a 2013 RT with a built in cradle for i assume a navigator iv.
I already have a tom tom rider that i am using on my other bike,i am not too fussed about all the extras on the navigator,(well not just yet lol)
My question is how to remove the cradle and where the wiring go,s etc.

By the cradle I assume you mean the bar across the top of the dash.
The screws you can see at each end is all that holds it on.  If there is nothing on the bar there is also no wiring to worry about.
There is a connection for a sat nav on the bike.  This is a white plug located under the headlight unit normally attached to a frame bar that you can see if you look up from the front of the bike.  It might have s black dust cap,on it.  You can get an adaptor cable to fit the plug from your local dealer.
One word of warning if you do.  Don't take up an offer to demo ride the LC. Ii might just spoil,your obvious enjoyment of the one you have.

To remove the cradle from the bracket, take out the 4 screws which have captive nuts (#8) to the bracket mount (#4).

Is the LC model nicer than the 13 model?

They are two completely different bikes.


Some prefer one, others prefer the slower, less refined, older model.


It seems that most people's preference is easy to justify - it's the one they happen to own!


Both are good bikes but for every 100 people that have moved from TC to LC and would never go back, you only find 1 or 2 who have gone the other way.


Go figure...

Maybe some people have better things to do with their money or more likely don't want to burden themselves with yet another 3 years on a PCP deal.
