Now Photobucket have decided to play hardball, what are people doing regarding image hosting? Any recommendations, preferably FOC.

Bloody nuisance isn't it! I've started using "imgur" now for sharing photo's on forums, mobile app isn't very good though, so I'm going to give "servimg" a go as well and see which best suits my needs.

Wonder how many will take up their generous offer?Sullivj wrote: Isn't it a pain. I thought I would 'just' upgrade my photobucket account, until I realised they want about £300 per year!!!

I'll have to give imgur another go - last time I tried I couldn't find a way to embed images into forum posts with it. I had a look at ImageShack but they want some money off me.simbo wrote: Bloody nuisance isn't it! I just click on the image I want to post and copy the BBCode (forums), Then paste into the text box, I'm guessing it shows as a full image? or does it just show a link to the pic?

Yep, tried Imgur out again yesterday and it was working fine. Probably user error last time around. I certainly won't be visiting Photobucket again.
