Hi to everyone from Droitwich, Worcestershire.

I currently have a 1200RT LE on factory order, however, I'm looking at a frustrating, six week wait. In the mean time, I'll catch up on some of the threads and try to gain some useful tips.

Regards

Only 23 years before you won't be able to buy a new petrol engined bike, so good job that you bought it now!!
So when is this “old enough to know better” supposed to kick in?

Hello and welcome. I also had a 6 week wait when I bought my bike new in December last year. It will go quickly enough and all that anticipation will make for a great day when you finally take delivery.

I don't think that motorcycles are currently included in the proposed legislation.

We might get a resurgence in motorcycling again then?

I ordered mine in May and it was nearer 4 weeks than the quoted 6, so you never know.
