Options for fitting non-BMW lights to an LC

I'm considering fitting some spot lights onto my RT and running them from an EzCan. The electronics side seems pretty straight forward but I'm wondering how to mount the spots. All the videos I have seem involve mounting the lights on engine bars which I don't have. Has anyone fitted spots to an LC RT without using either the BMW kit or mounting onto engine bars? If so I would appreciate recommendations on what lights and fittings were used.
Thanks.

I had the same desire, but ended up buying the BMW brackets for lack of a better option. They are spendy, but very solid and well-engineered, not disappointed with my purchase.

I fitted some Darla lights to mine and they came with the BMW brackets which were easy to fit and look quite neat.

Wunderlich spotlight set (black) - R1200RT LC 2014 on, £199, purchased from Nippy Norman in 2015, wired up with relay direct to batery with a switch on the right handlebar grip.

Clearwater do a mirror mounted bracket for their lights. Dunno whether they sell the brackets separately, tho.
Have a gander at this link:

I have a set of Clearwater Krista's mounted on an IliumWorks engine guard - very happy with the lights.

Thanks folks. I hadn't considered just buying the BMW brackets - that's probably the sensible move. Having said that, depending on the price, I may just fit a set of engine bars and mounts the lights off those.

That looks really tidy.
