16th September 2017 - Alternative Ride Out
If the Peak District ride, https://1200rt.com/viewtopic.php?p=35943#p35943 does not go ahead, I'd like to offer an alternative.
"The Three Morrisons", starting at Wetherby, heading to Keighley & Skipton, then returning to Wetherby.
The route will be mainly on Minor (white) roads, which I haven't previously ridden on, could be interesting.
On the return route between Skipton & Wetherby, a stop is planned at The Sun Inn near Fewston.
Basecamp says the distance is 95 miles in a riding time of 3.5 hours, plus 3 stops.
Weather permitting, is anyone available/interested in this idea, should the PD ride not take place.
As usual, the BC route is available if required.

The nearest we will get to Blackpool is either Keighley or Skipton.sepossivel wrote:I will be in Blackpool to collect one bike around noon, depending where is the ride i might join you guys.

Hopefully, the weather in Wetherby will be fair, http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2634217, that will determine whether or not I turn out.

Weather permitting, will you be joining us on Saturday.Tones wrote:Had the bike in to get the whining final drive issue sorted.

Re: 16th September 2017 - Alternative Ride Out
Based on the current weather forecast, the ride should go ahead tomorrow. Sunday could be an option if Saturday is not good.BBT600 wrote:Is it still on?
I will confirm in the morning, prior to setting off for Wetherby before 09:00, is this early enough for all attendees.
If anyone would like the Garmin Basecamp route, please PM me an email address.
