anyone had problems with a slight weep from the cap?
I can't see anything, it is dry but twice now it has leaked, dripped onto the handlebar and stripped the varnish from the paint
First time, the cap and the handlebar was replaced under warranty but now this time, the cost is mine. If I had it done, it would be well over 300 quid, so that's not happening. I am assured that I am just unlucky so I'm asking you folks if anyone else is unlucky!

Haven't experienced the problem myself on a 2012 TC, but these owners have, https://1200rt.com/viewtopic.php?p=36399#p36399Cas21 wrote:I'm asking you folks if anyone else is unlucky!

Re: Leaking front brake cylinder reservoir on 2013tc
After careful cleaning and positioning of the gasket mine (one of the examples in David,s thread link) has been ok although I do keep the fluid level at just under the minimum mark. I did have a problem when I first got the bike as leaking fluid caused the reservoir cap paint to bubble and dissolve. The cap was replaced under warranty. The previous design as on the Hexhead never gave me any such problems. Still, that's progress I suppose.
