Cover for Rt

Post by Oldbrook »

Hi has anyone got a cover to fit a Rt. The bike stays in my garage so a indoor cover would be ok as a outdoor one would also be ok. Many thanks Dave

Oxford make an XL size which fits well over Top Box Panniers and Windscreen.

That's odd...  I had a Large Oxford Stormex rhat covered the RT well,  but the seams had come apart and a large hole appeared.
So I ordered the new version Oxford Stormex except I went for the XL size,  It's nowhere near as large at the rear end...  It doesn't even cover the exhaust (that's with the large top box but no panniers)
I shall be looking elsewhere

It may be XL, but not for a tourer, Oxford do a specific cover and caters for large topbox/panniers.

Having ordered the Tech7 deluxe dust cover in XL size @ £17.99 I noticed tech7 do a 2XL indoor dust cover @ £9.99 being a tight git I went for this, dimensions are 272cm x 110cm x 130cm It arrived today so I will see how It fits over the weekend and take some photos to post on here, I don't have the BMW top box but do have a Givi 52l maxia so we will see how it goes over that and the panniers cheers.

Here are the pictures of the cover fitted to my bike with the top box and panniers fitted, not a bad fit for a tenner I don't leave the top box or panniers on the bike in the garage as they take up to much room they live in the house when not in use, so the last pictures are without them fitted bags of room to cover the whole bike, It is just a dust cover and I am very happy with the result.
