Have the bike for 2 years now, and like it more than when I bought it.
Some say that if you park your bike and walk away without looking back,
you bought the wrong bike! How true that is!!

Nice looking bike. I dispute the looking back bit, I have owned some really nice bikes that I did look back at, but not the RT. It is a work horse and I wouldn't put it in the nice looking bike folder. Nobody ever comes over to ask me about the RT, had a few Harleys and someone would always come and ask about them.

You are right, although, you mist my point: If park the bike and walk away without looking back at it
You bought the wrong bike!
Is not the bike others like better, is YOU are happy with YOUR bike! :be happy:

Nope can honestly say I didn't buy the wrong bike its a great bike for what I need it for. But I don't bother to look back at it when I walk away.

I love my RT, but I've seen it parked in a row of bikes and, on looks alone, I wouldn't choose the RT.
On it's own I do like the look of it, but it's more about function than form for me - I don't think there's a bike which can beat what it does, even if they might look better parked up.
I have been known to look back as I walk away, but that's more about hoping it's still there when I get back .....

Love the reflective tape on the rims. Where did they come from?

Well, I certainly think it goes well beyond looking back at it. I have such affection for my RT that I look back it, then go back and pat it on the seat (as I do with Mrs. ExGMan on occasion). They've both stuck with me through perilous times, and I want to express my appreciation.

Am glad you shared this with us. For some time now I felt like an outcast, since a few have mentioned that is almost ridiculous my statement.
I just thought was interesting to mention it and see what others think about that. So far, are not many in my camp... :not:

My 2010 TC has been under covers in the garage for 2 months. Recently, needed to move it, removed the covers & thought, wow, that's a handsome bike.

I hope nobody thinks that I feel anybody's statement is ridiculous - if you look back when you walk away, that's great ! I hope all RT owners love their choice of bike !
