Hello,
My headlight is in the permanent low position as I've lost the adjuster knob, but I still have the cam part. Has anyone had and fixed this issue before without replacing the complete headlamp please?
I've tried to get the replacement parts from Motorworks, MotoBins and Sherlocks but with no luck.
Thanks
Tony

This thread from BMWSportTouring might be helpful, http://bmwsporttouring.com/ubbthreads/u ... ber=340890
"The large plastic hex piece is PRESSED on a knurled shaft. It appears the plastic hex piece just fell off! At this point, I am trying to find a small piece of tubing that fits the diameter of the hole, and allows the shaft to go inside. My idea is to epoxy this tubing onto the knurled shaft and put a pin thru the tubing to turn it into a sort of key in which to adjust the light."
