I still don't understand what all the GE updates are for, can anyone please explain, thanks.

My Zumo 660 is up to date, Software Version 5.10 & Full Coverage of Europe 2018.20 maps.

GE updates are more frequent than map updates.

Hi, noted of GE update thanks, by the way there is a Garmin Europe map version 2018.30 available (for the Zumo 395 anyway). Regards

Had the Zumo 660 since 2011, think Garmin only update the maps twice per year on this device.

Is the Zumo 395 a fairly new one.

Hi the Zumo 395 was bought last year for the bike. Also have a Nuvi 2595 since 2013, for the car, and that has updated as well. Both have life time maps (LTM). Regards
