Southern ride out ... Sunday 10am Newbury
It looks like a reasonable day on Sunday with some sunshine.
I've decided to attempt one of "Ride" magazines local (to me) day routes.
Start and finish at the Hare & Hounds hotel in Newbury. The hotels postcode is RG14 1QY. It looks like it should take around 4 hours and is about 140 miles in total. I was going to set off from Newbury at 10am.
The GPX file can be downloaded from here .... https://www.ride.co.uk/routes-1/ride-guide-to-great-britain-2017 (you can also see a map of the route.)
Would be nice to see a few people from here if available. I have also posted this on Facebook RT groups so you never know, it might be a good turnout
I was born with nothing and unfortunately I still have most of it left.

No problem John .... Hope it's nothing that keeps you off two wheels for too long?
I'm prepared to wait for my tea .. :silence:

Have a safe ride, we have a yellow warning for snow and ice.

Thanks Kevin.
I'm having a new hip fitted on the 20th, so hope to be back on the bikes after a few weeks of recovery.
One of my goals will be to meet up and buy you that tea!

It would have been interesting to have joined you, as I could have picked up at Stockbridge if it was anti-clockwise. Unfortunately my volunteering day with the disabled ski group at Aldershot. I'll look out for the next one, if it's this part of the country.
Have a safe one.
