Re: tank protectors
Do you mean the film type? There was a thread a few days back on that. I'm using Nippy Normans protectors for the tank and panniers. Reasonable price, work well and pretty easy to apply using soapy water and a hairdryer.

Re: tank protectors
Personally, I prefer TechSpec Gripster Sneak Skin.
They last forever, just make sure you don't spill gas on!
You may find some in your area. Here is just how it looks:

If you have a light color bike, where the black shows, so much better.
They come 3 pieces, one each side of the tank and a small on top.
I think you can also order just a plain sheet and cut out whatever
your fantasies are :pee:

Re: tank protectors
I use a Rukka clear film on mine. It comes in a sheet and I've cut it into the shapes I need. So far, put it on the key ring area to stop it scratching, on the side panels stop boot scuffs, a section where the knees sometime touch and the panniers. It's an adhesive film, haven't tried to peel it off yet to see if it pulls the paint off. Mine's the twin cam so the tank has the rails on it.
thanks and regards, Ganesh
Re: tank protectors
I fitted the NN Tank Pad set, comprising total of 5 rubber pads. Very easy to fit and robust in operation.

I was quite disappointed in the way my textile trousers had scuffed the paintwork on my 2014 RT, so looking at getting some protection for my latest bike.
I really like the look of the Techspec Snakeskin, but at $45 postage to the UK, feel that is too expensive, so may have to go with the film type or Nippy Normans version.

It will take you to a uk distributor (hilltop). You can then navigate to it.. About £80 plus £7 p&p
