2016 R1200RT LC Radio issue
My 2016 R1200RT LC just lost the satellite radio signal while driving down the road. All I have is the preview channel 184. I have called XM and the tried several times to refresh the signal with no luck. AM / FM and AUX works and sounds fine but no satellite. Only channel 184. Any ideas ?

Sirius XM is good for a year from the day you walk out with your bike. Has it been over a year? What did XM say when you called?

I am all paid up and they tried to refresh the signal 3 times in 3 days. I also spoke to their tech department that tried also. They also told me that if Bluetooth was on they could not refresh the signal. I read, or tried to read the BMW audio book and I think my Bluetooth is off. I never turned it on and the Bluetooth icon is not lit up. They told me to bring it to the dealer and that is what I did. I have my fingers crossed.

Yellowjacket, I had to be on the phone with XM when they renewed my subscription, specific selected channel with good reception, worth a try, before shipping bike off to dealer to have them try the same thing. The fact that you get the free preview channel says the receiver is working

Well they tried to refresh the signal 4 times. A few of the people on the phone said to put radio on channel 1. Others said preview channel 184 was OK. I cannot change my radio to any channel except 184 preview channel. When I menu auto to all channels, I only get 184. When I audio to preset channels I get siri / dial 888 on the screen. What is that?
