Our Other Bikes
Leading on from another thread;
What have you got and why? Pictures would be nice.
I'll start off although not strictly my other bike.
Ticks all the boxes for me.

Re: Our Other Bikes
Before the RT I was riding Harleys for years, loved them, but I changed to the RT LC once I started blood running, as we don't always get to use marked bikes. Since riding our fleet of marked bikes, I have to say, I really love the FJR1300, it pulls like a train, is really comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the luggage system, nowhere near as neat as the BMW RT. But I would defiantly consider buying one in the future.
Reading Motorcycle Sport and Leisure this month, there is a great review of the Yamaha MT models, might also be worth a look.

+1 on the FJR.
My cousin (and riding buddie) is likely selling his in the next few weeks. I wish he wasn't as I'm sorely tempted although a little heavy for me these days. Bit of a family tradition as we have had 8 between us.

Very nice. Had a few cruisers in my earlier years, Yams though, very loud, but never managed a HD, couldn't afford one.

How much did it weigh? I've never sat on a Harley so no idea of how heavy they are
Re: Our Other Bikes
Around 373kg. It was a CVO Road King only about 15 in the UK. After 2 years and 14k, sold it for 19k but only because someone particularly wanted one.
Re: Our Other Bikes
My first post on this forum, so Hi from South Australia. Next week I fly to the other side of the country to collect a 2016 R1200RT in Alpine White, and I look forward to getting to know my new bike on the ride home. In the meantime, here's a photo of my 2009 Honda ST1300, which I've had from new, and which now has 175,000km on the clock.

Welcome and congrats on the new bike, hope it serves you as well as the old one. The Pan still looks good. Were they 110,000 (in English money) trouble free miles?

I have on old GSXR600 SRAD for track days and a (indian) Enfield Bullet which needs a new wiring loom.

Thanks for the welcome k9doc. The only issue major was to replace the rear drive unit and UV joint. I totally blew the UV joint, and the rear drive unit had developed a bit of backlash, so I put in a low mileage second hand unit. I'd still jump on the ST and ride it around Oz without a second thought for it's reliability. I hope to get the same reliability from the Beemer, and know of one in Oz that has done 260,000 reliable kilometers.
