Hi, I just got off the phone to HMT tyres Norwich and he told me that the Pirelli Angel GT is NOT a grand tourismo tyre I also notice that putting my make and model of bike in to the Pirelli tyre search nothing is recommended for the rt.

That's an old tyre design and has been outclassed by newer tyres anyway.Metzeler are part of the same company/group as Pirelli I believe, they have the Roadtec 01 in HWM form for the R1200 RT.
