Tank Capacity
I hadn't had my bike down to the reserve yet so decided to Siphon out the fuel until the reserve on the dash came on then see what the range left would be..duly did that, putting the fuel in a Jerry can and a 5 litter container..I siphoned out almost 25 litres..put that aside then went to fill up as usual and could only get 19.4 litres into the tank..How can that be!
Re: Tank Capacity
Manual says usable fuel capacity 25ltrs, reserve 4 ltrs.
It is puzzling.

What 1200RT (Year at the very least). There have been 3 different types of 1200RT from 2005 to now.
Re: Tank Capacity
Regardless of model and year (which are important), this is a puzzle. To make sure I understand: You siphoned 25L out of the tank, and more or less immediately refilled (with no gas added in the interim), and it would only take 19.4 L, leaving 25-19.4=5.6L tank capacity mysteriously missing.Potential new owner.. wrote: up as usual and could only get 19.4 litres into the tank..How can that be!
Am I understanding correctly?
