Switch gear Campaign - is it still on for Twin Cams?

Post by mack62 »

I have a 2013 90th anniversary RT.  On a recent tour of Scotland, the left hand turn indicator has become stuck on.  When you start the bike up it comes on immediately and then times out after about 90 seconds.  A strange behaviour I observed is that if you shut the bike off before the indicator times out, parking lights come on and can not be shutdown.  First time it happened, I ended up disconnected the battery to get them to turn off.

Does anyone know if the switch gear campaign still on for Twin Cams? Any fixes worth a try?  Thanks.

Think the switch replacement campaign has now come to an end, might be different if the bike has a warranty.

How the switches can be repaired, http://www.k1600forum.com/forum/bmw-k16 ... ilure.html

Motoscot fixed the faulty indicator switch on my 2005 bike.
