BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

Hi Guys
I have done quite alot of riding in Europe but was thinking of doing something a bit "Wow" further afield, Fly-ride. Has anyone got any recommendations of a tour they have done say south America/Africa or somewhere else. A real bucket list trip for my 50th is what I fancy. I am not experienced at off road so it would have to be within my limits.

My vote would be South Island, New Zealand. Fabulous roads, sights and people and such a lot of space with very little traffic. Several companies offer bikes for hire, we had a 1200RT for ten days and had a very memorable trip.

Not been on bike but NZ beautiful country or try South Africa. It doesn't have to be off road adventure.
