Wow, that's some mileage, a "potted history" would be interesting.

Can't match that on a bike, but did 225,000 miles in a 1991 MKII VW Golf GTI.

That is some high mileage! I thought I was doing well with 100,000 km (a mere 62,500 miles) on my 2009 RT. What you had to change/replace and when would certainly be of interest. Regards

Was this bike on eBay up until very recently? Did you buy it perhaps? Or is it just a photo from the listing?!

I bought I used but not off of eBay this picture is one that I took the day I turned it over 230,000 miles
