2016 model has a wet clutch, the OP's bike is a 2012 with a dry one. If a transmission oil sight glass was fitted as in the video, this would be on the RHS of the bike. Plus, it wouldn't be seen without removing the lower fairing panel.raider57 wrote:I just noticed a smaller oil sight glass aft of the engine oil glass on the left side.
Yes, the trans oil glass is in fact on the right side. You can see it between the panels by looking towards the rear and slightly downwards. The previous owner must have installed it. I'd expect the gasket ring to be the same as that required for the OEM plug, 18 x 22.raider57 wrote:Hopefully it removes easily when fluid change time comes, and not sure what type of seal/gasket is used.
