Brake rotors question (2014 R 1200RT)

Hi everyone, I am new to your folks forum. I have signed in, as in September I bought a used R1200RT. It is 2014, pre-owned, with 7K mi.
I've got a good deal when I bought it, but there are certain things that need to be taken care of.
I had my local shop do some basic maintenance for me, so that I could drive safe.

I've got one question though. I have attached a pic of my brakes. It's a brembo set, and I am not sure, whether this came from the factory like that, or the previous owner added them.
I was wondering, if it is a must to get brembo brake discs (rotors) for the bike with brembo brakes, or the brand does not really matter? Thanks.

Mine is a 2014 and looks exactly the same, Brembo fitted as standard.

As Casbar says thats a standard RT. Nor sure why you are asking about replacement brake discs (rotors) with only 7K on the bike but the make of discs does not matter providing both sides are the same and of cause the specification is as OEM.

It's with 7K mi only, but seems like the bike was kept in a garage or some other place with excessive moisture. Then Seems like they simply polished the rust or whatever off the brakes (yet it's still visible, if you look closer, especially in the holes). The reason of this condition is just my assumption, cannot say for sure why they are like that...
Anyways, the reason why I asked. I was checking new rotors and saw nice wave ones, but was not sure if they are compatible with the Brembos. I saw some were specified for the 2014 R 1200RT, but again, I was not sure those Brembos are stock. If they are stock, that's fine, but if they were not, I thought not all rotors listed for my bike are compatible. That's why I asked...
Appreciate your comments, folks...

Fair enough. If you do replace the discs for new ones replace the pads as well. New discs new pads on both sides.

Moisture will indeed cause the rotors (discs) to look tarnished, which may appear as surface rust. Very shortly after having my bike professionally cleaned the discs started to appear to be rusty. I queried this with the operator and we agreed that the rusty appearance was in fact "staining" caused by copper from the pads, discs or both. This staining is obviously removed with brake use, but unfortunately, further action is need if the holes need to be cleaned. Aggressive brake cleaning products will remove brake dust etc. from the surface of the discs & within the holes which is why the tarnishing then appears.

Thanks for pointing that out for me, sir, as I thought of replacing rotors only... Will grab a set of pads as well then.

Well, that's what I thought. It is not only about apperance, but also about the overall attitude, you know. When you buy a bike for $14K, you obviously want it to look right, not like you got the brakes from a junk yard lol
Anyways, I just wanted to make sure I can install wave brake rotors and they will work right with the Brembo I've got.
Also, as long as I have a chance to ask you here, can you please comment on wave rotors for me? Just an example of the brakes I liked:

I was wondering, if floating discs perform like the factory ones (I am not seeking for miracles, but I want them to look and perform ot worse, than what I've got).
Also, I expect them to wear pads just like the regular rotors do (I assume, wave rotors have those larger cut-outs, which means they may cause more pads wear. That's just my opinion, I am not 100% positive about that).
Appreciate any feedback/comments on the wave rotors (not necessarily by this brand).
Thanks. Sorry for too much text lol
