Wunderlich Gopro mount
Wunderlich Gopro mount
Hi Guys
I need to get a new mount for my Gopro to fit on my new bike. There are links below for the two I am considering. The top one is the updated version of the one I currently have on my air cooled RT which is good but move when you put the screen up and down so I'm thinking of going for the other. I wonder if anyone has used it and can comment on how well it works?

TIA

I am also looking at these, although I intended to make a copy of the Camrack one myself, but am concerned about vibration in this location.I actually think the front camera mount looks sturdier, but again am loathed to spend this sort of money if it's going to shake all the time.
Biggest attraction for me is so that I can get rid of the GoPro from the top of my helmet thereby making me look like a Tellytubby!
It will be interesting to see the responses.

This is a video I did on my aircooled 1200 using a camrack, I think the vibration is acceptable.

The camrack looks nice but it's €145 ($166) on the US site vs €79.90 ($91) on German site. Yikes!

I was interested to see watching your gopro footage, a slight graining at the lower part of the footage. I have got the same with my Innovv c5 to a slighter larger degree. I wonder if it just normal.

I just watched it again and I don't think it is graining, I think it is just blurring claused be a too low frame rate compared to speed. That video was short at 50fps, 70mph is just over 100 feet per second, so each frame at 70mph equal two foot of travel so anything close is going to blur

The blurring/graining seems the same. What makes mine worse I think is my camera is pointing lower down nearer the road. Ordered a different SD card and will format inthe DVR rather than the app. [/size]
Its the same on this youtube clip, must be a common trait.

Forgetting about the camera quality for now, I think the Camrack stability looks OK.
Anyone used the other type?

I had that same "Yikes!" so I made my own...
Total cost = less than $25 CAD for a 3' chunk of flat aluminum bar, a tripod gopro mount, and hardware (including some hard rubber washers for vibration damping). This doesn't factor in my 'sweat equity' of course, but it was a fun little winter project, so it's all good!
Does it look as nice as the CamRack mount - no
Do I care - not at all!

Re: Wunderlich Gopro mount
If anyone is interested in one of the screen mounts for an air cooled R1200RT then I am selling mine https://www.1200rt.com/viewtopic.php?t=6 for 30 quid.
I've decided to go for the under light replacement as I can not see any advantage of one over the other and it is cheaper, although worrying about saving €30 after spending 18 grand on a bike is slightly odd. ???
Will post some footage once I have some

Re: Wunderlich Gopro mount
Hi folks, first post here, I have a K16GT Sport and have been considering the R1250RT (I have had 3 RT's and 3 K16GT's).
Anyway, I use the windscreen mount and a second RAM mount on the handlebar that can swivel front and back. I am in the RAT (Road and Tour) club NI.
This is a review of our outings last year (warning it is 9 minutes) but you will see front and back camera stuff and a bit from my Mavic Air drone.
