Hi everybody, another sunny day in Glasgow so heading out for another training ride with my East Kilbride RoSPA trainer from Glasgow down west coast to Girvan for a roll and a cup of tea and back up again.
Hope you guys have a good ride out if you are going on one.
Update
Good to see the bikes are getting out, day turned out to be a 178 mile round trip, Strathaven, Ayr, Girvan (coffee stop), Newton Stewart, Galloway forest, another pit stop in Moniaive, then up the great Dalveen Pass, Lanark and back to Strathaven.
Hard training day and lots of great tuition from Norman and Craig, have added a photograph of Ailsa Craig at our first pit stop.
Hope you all had an enjoyable day like myself.
Lovely day for a ride out

I'm heading out on my Yamaha XJ650 from Teesside to Ripon on "white roads", via Thirsk, returning near Catterick. It's a local IAM social ride out.

Managed about 120 miles round the Derbyshire Dales before getting the curly finger to come home.
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)

Re: Lovely day for a ride out
80 odd mile round trip to visit the mother in law who's in hospital after a fall down the stairs. Ride out of sorts, stuck to A roads which unfortunately most of which seem to have been designated 50mph limits. What a waste of the councils time. A423 in Warwickshire posted 50mph restriction, Oxfordshire boundary on the same road suddenly posted as National speed limit.
On a positive note the mother in law's on the mend.

Re: Lovely day for a ride out
It was a cracking day for a ride. I went up to the Round Britain Rally annual start event near Leominster and came back home (nr Southampton) via the Brecons and Mendips. About 350 wonderful miles in total. Raining today and it seems to have gone cold again. Motto: Carpe Diem!!!!!
