BMW Service Manual Designation

I purchased a copy of the CD for BMW Service for R1200RT. I find it excellent and very helpful. I'm a little confused by what seems to be repetition in the links to service and inspection schedules. If one hits the Maintenance Instructions button on the front page and then enters the bike's specifics to get to the right information, there is a list "Maintenance and general notes" with entries that appear to repeat, e.g.:
00 00 111 BMW Service GD
00 00 122 BMW Service (see Mainenance Schedule)
Why are there multiple entries for what appears to be the same thing, and what do the initials GD stand for?
