Re: Poll of Brake Pads
Only voted BMW OEM, as bike under warranty, Have got a set of EBC's in the garage which will be next on. Had them on every other bike with no complaints.
Vini, Vidi, Velcro....... I came, I saw, I stuck around.

Re: Poll of Brake Pads
To maintain the T&C's of the BMW Insured Warranty, the Brembo "Genuine" pads could be used.
Quote from the BMW IW policy handbook, "Genuine parts, or parts of equivalent specification must be used".

I understand what you're saying but it's just BMW jacking up prices for no performance gain over other as good products.

Re: Poll of Brake Pads
A set of BMW OEM pads are £234.33.
Brembo "Genuine" pads at full price are £189.00.
Brembo "Premium" pads are £94.30.
It's hard to believe that there is no difference between the two Brembo products, one of which is twice the price of the other.

Re: Poll of Brake Pads
A full set of double sintered EBC, front and rear, equaled price of just one disc worth of BMW's. Seems to stop just as well.

Re: Poll of Brake Pads
Out of choice I’d use the pads that Brembo recommended -
Road Long Life Sintered Front Brake Pads - 07BB38LA
Brembo Road Sintered Rear Brake Pads - 07BB03SP,
A total of £75.72 for the full set.
But as I have a spare set of EBC’s that I’ve acquired they’re next.
