Oil filter storage - use or bin ?

So, being a bit of a muppet last year when I change the oil and filter I left my stock of filters** in the garage over winter. Its unheated, doesn't leak single skin brick, not too much condensation, but I don't leave the toolbox in there. I was wondering if the general moisture levels would have had any adverse effect on the filters. While I'd rather not bin them it's a cheap alternative to lunching an engine :)

** oem in the cardboard box, no plastic bag.

Any condensation will be dried out by hot oil flow in no time.  I keep mine out in the winter here NE USA.

I think your fine and need to worry less and ride more ^-^

As long as they were dry and not exposed to moisture you should be OK using them
FYI: I buy all my filters by the case, motorcycles, cars and plane, never a issue and they are stored in a unheated hanger

The box they're in would have taken the majority of the condensation... That's why tramps sleep underneath cardboard 👍
