Lynn's Raven Café Whitchurch Shropshire has now closed permanently, due to problems with their landlord...

Hi Wits, that's terrible, like you I go there a LOT, good food, loads of parking, chatting to other bikers, maybe it will revive somehow, I'm retired like you so I usually go there on a weekday, the Midway truck stop is next to Llyns, I've never been in there but I'll try it soon, I'm near Welshpool and if you ever fancy a meetup rideout on a nice day, let me know.

Not sure if you've used it but the Old stores motorbike cafe on the A5104 near Mold is  probably the next decent bike meet round that area  with some great memorabilia.

That's on my list for spring 2020 8)

I will take you up on that, (semi retired working 21.5 hrs so time off during the week)

Haha,, I was only having a joke , but yeah when the weathers fine I'll join up for a run round them areas, i sometimes camp in Bala or a little site near Forden so i could always use them as a base.

Ok, I guess your camping trips are in spring/summer, you would have to be a masochist to do it in the last 3 months weather !!,  re Forden, I live just 9 miles west of that, maybe you attend the annual Forden motorbike show in September.
