Replacing front engine cover 2014 LC

The front engine cover on the 2014 R1200RT LE I just bought is corroded in places. Not really bad but it's the only thing on the bike that's not like new and I need to rectify it. I just bought a used cover in mint condition so I just need to know how big a job is it to swap?
Is there oil behind that cover?
Any special tools needed?
Any videos online (I can't find any even on GS forums).
Is it a specialist job?
Thanks.

How about this one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQqsR7pfdO4

BMW use a sealing compound rather than a gasket.
This is what was used by BMW on my 2012 Camhead timing (front) cover,

Doesn't look like it.

What condition are the screws in, they are M6 x 20mm, 16 off.

After checking the head/flange diameter, some stainless steel ones might look nice. Stig Fasteners is a supplier of s/s, https://www.a2stainless.co.uk/

Here's a couple of examples which might work, other options are available.

Is the bike fitted with a fender extender.

David, you have answered every question of mine. I would not have found those videos because I was using different search terms that just wouldn't have picked those up so thanks again. Thanks also for the link to the sealant.
It does have a fender extender now as of this morning. I'm hoping that will help reduce this issue in the future.
You're a star.

Just thought I'd post an update on this.
The job is now done but I didn't do it myself and I'm glad I didn't attempt it. The front engine cover is actually the clutch cover on the LC engines (that's how you can find videos on how to remove the cover - by searching for clutch replacement).
I took it to a friend's motorcycle workshop who did the job for me. He said the BMW advice is to remove the front suspension to gain access but he managed to do the job by just removing the front wheel. The top two bolts are almost impossible to reach.
Because the oil needs to be drained you have to factor in an oil and filter change.
The total cost was £200 for the cover and the labour.
It looks miles better now and, with the fender extender now fitted, I hope it will stay that way!
