Hello all,
my newly acquired R1200RT Twincam has Clutch Fluid leaking from between the Reservoir and the Metal Cap. I carefully loosened the three Cap Screws and raised the Cap. The Diaphragm / Gasket is not fitting along the rear edge of the Reservoir and seems to be distorted inwards. I'm sure that this is the cause of the leak.
No matter how I try I am unable to locate and hold the Diaphragm in position whilst replacing the Metal Cap. I have tried positioning the Diaphragm both on the Cap and on the Reservoir without success.
The problem seems to be caused by the Diaphragm being distorted and perhaps "stretched".
In have looked at Max BMW Parts Fiche but can't seem top locate the Diaphragm.
Please can anyone offer advice.
Thanks.

Last year (2019), I got a brake fluid reservoir rubber boot from Cooper Sunderland for £12.50. Give them a call, they'll pop one in the post FOC.
