What to do, torn into 3 options?

This morning I had a ride on a 1250RT demo bike! First impressions:
- It feels much smaller than I thought. If it wasnt for the mirrors it could even city filter (almost)
- At 5’ 7” the bike suits me fine on low position standard seat, still cant flatfoot but it’s very easy to move around due to low cg.
- Driving position is perfect for me at least during the hour I’ve been riding her both in city driving and highway.
- The panel is very easy to read and has a lot of info. Controls and switches good too
- Power wise it doesnt seem a lot at low revs but over 4k it starts showing its potential. Engine noise very different from the oilhead i had years ago. Call me classic but I really liked the old boxer noise!
- I like the power screen, you can isolate yourself whenever you feel like it or get wind in the hair (pun intended)
Now, decision time. Options
- 2018 1200RT all options but topcase and radio. 14.000kms, fully serviced and new tyres. BMW sale with 1 year warranty. 16000€
- 2014 1200RT all options including radio and topcase. 60.000, recently serviced and new tyres. Private sale. 13000€
- 2011/2013 fully optioned from 40 to 80.000kms. Price ranges from 9 to 11.500 € depending on milleage. Private sales
- continue with my 2018 Vstrom 650 XT
I’ll use mainly for touring with the wife. 2/3 long distance and long weekends trips whenever we feel like it. Also will go solo for the twisties now and then. Reckon about 12000 kms per year on average
What is your veredict??
