Hi everyone, I have the dreaded Green Blinking light on my BMW comms unit in my System 6, think it is stuck in Standby Mode on a full charge, anyone have any ideas on how to solve?
I have seen posts about waiting for the battery to die, any idea how long this takes?
I have also seen posts about disconnecting from the battery, anyone have a pictorial guide?

I have had this happen when the battery ran too low, it would not charge and the green light stayed on.
This video shows how to remove the liner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_cFV6Wf30k but once you have done that you need to remove the polystyrene as well, the battery and circuit board are between the polystyrene and the shell. Once the polystyrene is out you can unplug the battery from the card, so the card will reset. Plug the battery in and apply power, it should charge as normal. I seem to remember it was fiddly but not impossible.
