### BREMBO To Replace My Leaking Hayes Calipers ###

I just made my service appointment to have my leaking Hayes calipers replaced with the BMW factory recall replacement BREMBO calipers. These will be my fifth set on my 2020 R1250RT in ten months I've owned the bike.

When I bought my 2020 3 weeks ago the dealer replaced the Hayes with Brembos before delivery.

Does anyone know if the 2021 bikes have Hayes or Brembo callipers? Guess we will know in a couple of weeks at the launch in March. The videos I have seen, look like the callipers are BMW branded, so are they Brembo branded or Hayes? Or is it just in North America they are fitting Brembos. Like I've said before, I am lucky and have had no issues with the Hayes ones on my bike and they work fine.

My last set (number four) I never noticed any leaking but when I took it to the dealer for a radio issue BMW wanted them checked-out and said they were weeping and needed to be replaced. I did like the feel of the Hayes but four leaking sets made me just want them replaced and be gone for good.

My 2020 returned yesterday from the recall work. The replacement calipers say BREMBO on them. (were “BMW”) It should be easy to identify.
