Hi,
Can anyone advise me whether a quick shifter was standard equipment on the 1250 RT.
Cheers.

It was on my 2019 LE 1250, but it is not on one of our 2020 1250 SE. On the SE you had to spec it

From parts lists, Shift Assistance Pro (Quick shifter) was either a factory option or possible retrofit.
Both cases would imply that a quick shifter isn't standard equipment.

It depends where the bike was bought, in the UK the LE comes with quick shift, the SE doesn't. It can be programmed to work on any bike. On an SE, you can add packs to take the bike upto the LE spec, but it costs more to do that. The only extra on my LE was the SOS and aux lights. Think in North America, they do not have specs like in the UK.

For 2021, the BMW Motorrad (UK) site,
https://www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk/en/model ... 250rt.html would indicate that there are two models available, an RT (base model) or RT LE.
From what I can make of the website, Gear Shift Assistance Pro (Quick shifter) is standard on the LE.
For the RT (base model), it is available if a "Dynamics package" is specified, therefore not standard.

I've just looked at my invoice and your correct, listed for my bike, was keyless, dynamic pack, sos and aux lights. My bad

Found a MCN article which confirms as above that in 2019 when the 1250 RT was first introduced to the UK, there where indeed three models available.
Looks like the LE model has always had Gear Shift Assistance Pro (Quick shifter) as standard.

Depends on what model you are looking at , the RTLE was looked at as the top of the range.

The conclusion is, a quick shifter was
not standard equipment on the 1250 RT.

"BASE MODEL",,,,
If it was Le then yes it is, probably se as well. You would be hard pressed to find a base model as almost all are le models with Gear assist pro.

SE no, option. We bought a 1250RT last year for our Blood Bike group, it didn't come with gearshift assist or the angel eyes.

Would be interested to know percentages of spec levels purchased in uk? I would bet se not many more than base model.
