2007 R1200RTP seized last fall, finally had time to dig in. Discovered a broken exhaust valve on right side.
I’ve watched several videos on how to do a tear down, but all presume the ability to place pistons at TDC and secure the valve drive chain in position, before disassembly.
With the engines seized, how do I take it apart without creating other problems.
Planning to do a top end on both sides while it is apart. Can this be done without removing the engine from the bike?

Re: Broken exhaust valve
The Haynes manual lists removal of cylinder heads and valves, plus cylinders, pistons and piston rings as operations possible with the engine in the frame.
