Hi, Can anyone recommend a tank bag for the 1250RT. I`m thinking of about 10 litres or so. I had the BMW R1200 tank bag before I moved up to the 50, but didn`t really care for the straps. Cheers.

Hepco and Becker. I like the quick release feature.

I tend to use something smaller like this
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Givi-ST602-Spo ... B01BDXGLL4 however you can get larger sizes and "Tanklock" system seems quite good. Peter

Another vote for Givi tanklock, I've got the XS319 which is about the smallest they do as all I store in it is things I need immediate access to, phone, wallet, passport etc. but the whole system just works

Thanks guys, I did try the Givi XS 307 tanklock (didn`t actually fit it) but it seemed very long, also it had a strap that I think was supposed to go round the bars but I didn`t like that, shame as it was a good deal. I like the tanklock idea though. Will look at Hepco as well. Much obliged.

Think mine had that too, probably some "H&S insurance" for the bag falling off, never used it, never had the bag come undone:-) Peter

I've liked the SW Motech City Bag on my R1200RT and have just installed the "Pro" version on my '21 RT. I'm very happy with their products.

I watched a video of one of the SW Motech bags, looks nice, might go with them as I couldn`t see a strap on them. Cheers all.

I have a SW Mowtech ion bag on an older RT. Fixes on with the tank ring. No straps - easy on & off. Been using it for about two years with no issues.

I had the Givi xs307 15L quick-release bag on my 2014RTW. It worked reasonably well, but there was some interference between the bar ends and the hard base of the tank bag that prevented full lock of the bars. It was only a small amount and I lived with it. However, with my 2020RT, the interference was more significant and I chose to abandon it. I just returned from a rally where I saw an SW-Motech Quick-Lock-Pro City bag installed on another 2020. The fitment was much better and conforms to the shape of the tank. I just ordered that one.

Hi, hearing about the interference of the 307 makes me feel better, I thought it was me being picky. Will definitely check out the SW M ranges. Cheers all.
