Met up with some crazy guys on BMW,S run down to Monmouth and met even more crazy BMW owners , good weather all the way to Wales , great night and an excellent meal , all in all a great day out thanks to all who organized tea stops and accommodation details anyone who has not taken part in the annual meet i would recommend it to everyone .

Sounds a treat. My plan to buy an RT in France to be stashed at my friend's hous seems doable now. News of virus troubles in Spain/Portugal may call for me to revert to my original plan to visit family in Britain - tho' I'm no sure visitors will be welcome by August. One of these years maybe I'll tag along on one of these meets. It's been 50 yrs since I bought my first bike, a Bonnie 650, but I hadda get out of the the country within the week to avoid the taxes, so a (bike) tour of the isles is long overdue.
