My 2007 RT needs a brake fluid change. The problem i have is i don't know how to with an ABS system. My ABS, non-servo system doesn't work but is still connected and i have heard i still have to bleed this too but i haven't a clue how to do this. Any pointers?

If the ABS system doesn't work, it would seem that a standard brake flush/bleed is the only option.

Cheers David. Thought i would have to bleed the ABS unit itself as well. From the link, it just seems it's a normal bleed then

This thread discusses the brake fluid change on a Camhead,

The conclusion seems to be that even if the ABS unit is working, a conventional manual flush/bleed is all that is required. The ABS unit does not get electrically cycled/flushed.

I did mine last week. I did follow it up with my GS911, but it wasn't necessary. As long as you are careful and don't screw up and let additional air in, there shouldn't any problem. Speed bleeders make it so much easier.
