Long-term bike storage

My plan to buy a bike in France/Britain, return from the US for yearly tours, and store it at a Parisian friend's garage has gone tits up,  so I'm looking for an alternative storage plan.  I was thinking of a regular storage lot with roll-up, lockable doors where'd you'd normally keep excess furniture, etc.  Preferably one that offered smaller lockers.  I don't know if France or Britain has safety laws that prevent it, but I'd drain the petrol/gas first.  Paris or south of France is first preference,  but around London would serve.  As a back-up plan,  I've discovered a website in the US that arranges legal, cheaper rental of privately owned bikes and was wondering if there were something similar in Britain or France?  Thanks.

David the Hero,  AKA the "www.izard" for coming up with those storage places.  I tried and failed in my own search to find something in France, and thought "Well, that's put paid to my grand plan".  But it seems that, subject to confirmation, their bike storage is only 20 euros/month, they keep it charged AND they pick you up from the train station. To top it off, it's in "Tours" - what a perfect city name for a motorcycle business.  The dream's back on track!  I might even buy a bike through them since they can help with the paperwork, insurance, etc.  I've gotta stop by and buy you a pint (gallon?) o' bitter!  Thanks ever so.

I have a mate that used to live in Tours. He lived in a cave. Well, the front looked like a house but most of the rest was built into the mountain. They are lots of these buildings that you can see in Tours. This is where you get the name " Troglodyte" from. Remember HG Wells time machine? that's where he got the name from. Also, there is a nice McD,s there too. Watch out for the ladies of the night

Doctor T,  When you say "look out" for ladies of the evening, do you mean beware of them, or "be sure to ogle" - or both?  If the former, I may have to consult another Doctor.  The District in Frankfurt was breathtaking (US Air Force Base just outside).

Possibly better value than a BMW main dealer service.

Possible but there is always a chance of a free takeaway gift.
