BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

Hi all.
New to the forum and to this bike. My bike is a dark, metallic blue. I am trying to confirm what the actual paint code is so I can get some touch-up paint and also get an aftermarket seat with matching piping.
I see some codes under the seat and on the upper forks, but nothing with the VIN or anything that looks like a paint code. Where would I find these values on the bike?

It shows:  carbon-schwarz metallic  [/font][/size]
My bike appears to be dark blue, but I think this black may be the correct code. I still want to know where to find the codes on the bike to be sure.

Right. I know Schwarz = Black, and I've seen the English translation appear in a couple of places.


I really want to know where to find the codes. They must on there somewhere... right?

try having a look under the seats for paint codes


show us a pic of your bike to make sure we are talking the same colour

My 2020 RT is Mars red, I wanted to buy some touch up paint and was informed by Wolverhampton and Chester Motorrad dealers that BMW don't do touch up paint  :alas: , if anyone can find different please advise on this thread.
