Test rode a R1800 Transcontinental. Lovely bike, makes a brilliant tourer but a tad too heavy for my little legs. Spec to my requirements was around £30000.
The power is linear throughout the range. Still, at that price, i wish i had the funds for one.
After that, i mowed the back garden. Happy days

In the dolomites with over 100 serving or retired police officers from all over Europe in temperatures of 28'. Had two days of riding around in a big group, haven't stopped at a red traffic light or junction as the Italian police were escorting us and stopped traffic! Sadly got a three day journey ahead of me tomorrow

Re: What did you do today
Packed the bike for my 2 week trip through France tomorrow. This is the second trip of the year. Tyres, and oils are all checked. Roadside repair kit sorted. This time am not camping, at 57, and crawling in and out of a tent kills the hips. I Am Using Etap hotels. I've always found them clean and comfortable in the past, plus the cost is reasonable. Got 2 already booked for a night each. The other nights I'll just find another wherever i find myself at night.
