Torque Setting

Post by Douglas »

Hi all, wanna change the oil on my RT 1250 (2019). Tried looking for the torque NM of the oil drain plug but cannot find it anywhere. The Instruction Manual that comes with the bike has no info on it. Haynes doesn't do a manual for the 1250 RT either so bar asking the dealer for the torque setting I'm pretty stuck. Does any one know it??

Hey Boxflyer, thanks a million for this info. My RT has just done 15000km. It's still another 5000km to it's next service but if done some touring on it so I just want to change the oil. I'm not even going to change the oil filter. I suppose I'm a creature of habit as I've always changed the oil on all of my bikes every 5000km's. BTW where did you get this info from? I've been looking for it high and low with no success
